During the daily Oval Office broadcast Trump claims that he will give farmers money from tariffs to compensate them for the business lost selling soybeans to China. The last time I checked tariffs were paid by all Americans - so thanks to Trumps new tariff tax we get to pay farmers to do nothing.

Scott Bessent is blowing smoke - more BS to mislead Americans. Of course everyone wants to build wealth, but affordable goods and low taxes provide lower to mid income families with more discretionary income. Why would we want to pay more on basics and save less?
