Finally, the Port has closed the temporary food pantry for federal workers and is not taking any further donations. All leftover goods will be given to the Des Moines Food Bank. Thank you to all that provided donations and support.

As we head into the busy holiday travel season, pack your patience, arrive early, and thank the workers that are here to get you to your destination safely.

Travelers should still check with their airlines for any changes to flight schedules in the days to come. They should also still plan to be at the airport 2 hours early for a domestic flight and 3 hours early for an international flight.

f you’d like to help, donations of nonperishable food and essential items are welcome at the SEA Conference Center lobby on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Last week, we coordinated a resource fair to connect employees with a variety of helpful services. Yesterday, @FoodLifeline brought three trucks of groceries for a food distribution event, and we’ve opened a food pantry for federal workers here at SEA.

These dedicated workers are critical to keeping SEA operating safely and smoothly every day, and we’re deeply grateful for their partnership and commitment.
