I rediscovered this photo of Hawker Hunter F.6 XF383, which was languishing on the fire dump at RAF Wittering in 1991. (The plane, not the photo!) The next shot in the sequence was published in Wrecks & Relics 13 (1992). It was the first photo I had published! #wittering #raf #avgeek #hunter #plane

Hello! First post - here's a few recent photos taken at the RAF Polebrook memorial in Northamptonshire. The station was used in World War Two by the USAAF's 351st Bomb Group, flying B-17s.
