Why is it up to the states when it comes to cleaning up after natural disasters but not up to the states when it comes to immigrants? It's almost like it’s about control, not policy.

Why do I love living in Massachusetts? I forgot my sandals on the beach. I took a nap, and it was high tide, and everybody was saying they were long gone. But we take care of each other here, and I thought I bet someone took them up for me. They did. Thank you, random stranger. You made my day.

The town I live in has been on national news because of ICE. The way people justify it so they can sleep at night is wild. “It's only people that have a criminal record” (false). Nevertheless, I thought it was supposed to be just the “most violent criminals.
