I’ve been away for a little while on annual leave, but things didn’t go how I hoped. Unfortunately, I recently experienced a miscarriage and it’s completely knocked the wind out of me. I’m devastated, so I’ve been keeping to myself to protect my own peace and try to process what’s happened. (1/2)

Day 2 out of 4 on the shed turn at the ETD! Just two more days stand between me and 3 whole weeks off! 😍 I’m definitely ready for some rest and relaxation. For now though, I’m enjoying my time on the ETD and making the most of the yard life! 🥰

I got to do something a bit different on Friday while I was on the shed turn! I was given the opportunity to repaint some Class 66 side mirrors from the old EWS maroon to DB red. (1/6))

One of those rare occasions where I’ve actually had my hair down at work! 😅 It’s usually tied up because, as you can see, it’s pretty long! I normally like to make sure it’s well out of the way of anything I might be doing! 👩🏻

Another fantastic run from Crewe down to Rugby on 4L56! The signallers must’ve been in a good mood today because they let me run early through all my usual ‘booked to wait’ stops. Definitely wasn’t complaining! 😜 (1/2)

It was a day on the shed today with a few moves, including this rather unique combo of a TfW Class 230 unit with a Class 90 thrown into the mix! Definitely keeps things interesting! (1/2)

Two successful nights from Bescot to Trafford Park operating 4M78 are complete! ✅ The first one might have been a bit on the soggy side, but it felt so good to finally stretch my legs over the route from Bescot to Stafford solo since signing. It felt great to put the knowledge to the test! 🙌🏻

Didn’t quite nail the Sabrina Carpenter hair, but luckily this dress is distracting enough! 😅 Just imagine it with a smokey eye, dark red lips and nails and the perfect heels! 😍 Now manifesting an occasion worthy of it!… Is it too extra for a Tesco trip? 😆

Had another successful run yesterday. With the Stockport route under possession, all the traffic that normally goes that way is being sent via the Styal lines. The apparent side effect of this is that the signallers seemed extra keen to hurry me through the usual spots I’m on yellows or reds…

Another fabulous day on the ETD. Prepped a 67 for its journey down to Dollands Moor dragging a 92 and shuffled a few more around the yard. I even got to drive one into the wheel lathe where I was lucky enough to be allowed to see the process up close…
