It is ridiculous to ask a person to try and figure out what catastrophic drugs they might need in the future. This is something we can never know because by its very nature it will be unexpected. No one knows what medicine they will need next year. 2/2

It is still a horrible plan but at least you understand that paying the deductible gets you through the donut hole crisis that never should have ever happened. I think part D was planned very badly and all of it is ridiculous. So let's review why it is ridiculous actually. 1/2

Every part D plan I saw added to the deductible because of removing the donut hole. Also, insulin is capped at 35 dollars. So this will improve catastrophic coverage for say cancer drugs. Many plans are 0 dollars a month to keep part D and this helps people in tiers 1&2. I want universal healthcare.

No they didn't and it didn't happen so you are incorrect. Part D was reduced because of the Biden rule that did get rid of the donut hole. Some went up but many went down. No plan hiked Part D alone by 24%. Are you a chat bot?

You cannot cap pay at district level because they could never afford housing in DC, so that would need to be assessed. I think they can keep pay assessed for expenses in DC.
