I travel A LOT for work. Normally it’s fly, meetings, fly home. This trip there was time for exploring. Paris is absolutely amazing. I still don’t know how I got here but I love it! #Gratitude #worktrip #theypaymeforthis😎

Had an amazing night at @NATCA’s Archie League Awards tonight. Think of it as the Oscars for ATC. They highlight professionalism under pressure of an emergency to ensure a safe outcome. It was a great way to end a week at #CFS2025

So as I posted earlier, the kid I took to Oshkosh took to it like a fish and water. His spark for aviation grew into a raging fire, and he started taking pictures and they are phenomenal. Give him a follow at @avgeeksnaps.bsky.social Photos to start being posted soon!

Amazing sunrise over #OSH25 today. It might rain but that what the hangers are for. Time to go shopping!

If you go on a fishing trip you fish more than once. I’m on a flying trip, so I made sure I went flying today! Took some friends as well. #OSH25

Brought the middle kid to #OSH25 he wanted to come with me and he likes airplanes. Understanding a 14 year old might get bored I was prepared to leave early if we needed to. However, what happened was OSH was like pouring gasoline on a smoldering fire. Photos are his.

I’m extremely grateful for what I get to do for a job. This week of work I spent it in meetings with Airbus and other industry partners discussing a new way to plan flights across the ocean to save fuel. The just happened to be hosted by Air France. A few days in Paris was amazing.

In-laws live on the downwind-base turn to 8L in ATL. I caught this today when watching airplanes with my son. Really cool to see the wake make a hole in the cloud. No worries. The cloud quickly repaired itself. It was an A339 from CDG. #avgeek

The apple doesn’t fall from the tree. Window seat and @ForeFlight. My #avgeek is starting to rub off on him.

Technology is amazing, I’m in a machine that is currently 32,000 feet in the air over the North Atlantic, moving at 82% the speed of sound, and sending this photo. Sometimes I just sit back in awe. #Gratitide

As we start in another season of Lent I always think of different ways to make some changes. This Lent I am removing color from my phone in the hopes of using it less. #ashwednesday2025

This NOTAM explains why it was a pain to try and get fuel this evening, yes I read my NOTAMs, but this was issued after I took off 🤣

My oldest became an Eagle Scout today. I’m immensely proud of him. Best still he just turned 17 and has 10 months left in the program to show off his badge! #ProudDad

Great evening for some altitude seeking. It was chilly which made the airplane happy. Climbed really well. Flew over an airport and there was a blimp parked there. So I landed to snap a few photos. #Flying

Had a unique day yesterday. Crossed the date line west to east which allowed a SUPER long Friday. 32 stand hours is a new record for me. #TimeTravel

After four long years of being grounded, I’ve managed to fly for a whopping 4.5 hours in just the past two days. It’s been an incredible experience!

At a Scout outing, needed to make and set up an orienteering course for the boys. Used google earth to pick the points and Foreflight to get the bearings.
