fun fact there's a fish called boops boops (in binom nomenclature B. boops) and it's from the Ancient Greek word βόωψ, meaning "ox-eyed". I noticed the roots from βοός (cow) and οψομαι (2nd principle part/Future active [but deponent] first person singular form of "to see")
