I find comm. aircraft irresistible
One thing that often worked with my dad was music, his old favorites. But he was always big into listening to and humming/singing along.

A refocus technique maybe?

Have you checked out the PS forecast for the next 7 days? Really nice temps, well above normal. Good shorts/tank weather. I'm looking forward to drinking out on a patio.

Oh, I had forgotten. "Christmas" at your house has a slightly grander meaning!

That is such a kind act. So impressed when I see people do these little things to help someone.

Yes, that's the right perspective as far as I'm concerned. I'm the opposite of you - i struggle to stick to routine, so I ask myself: you want to get diabetes? Get decrepit by age 65? Have coronary issues? That is the right use of guilt! Exercise/fitness help retain youthfulness and vitality.

It look so warm and cozy. Hot cocktail bevvies and all that.

Anthony, you are the model of dedication to your routines. Never slack off on your diligence, but be easy on guilting yourself when once in a while things go slightly astray. Your fitness levels won't notice if it's just a few days or so.

Oh sure, why not? If you really need something, stores are nearby. Live on the edge.

Glad it didn't/did work out after all. I had a similar experience here with a now defunct Canadian low cost carrier. They took the reservation but not the payment, and even a week later I was trying to figure out if I actually had a seat or not. They shut down a day or so later, still no payment

I miss this so much. Calgary had this in abundance when I was a kid, always something in walking distance.

Lucky you! How long in España?
November 14, 2025 at 3:55 PM
At least in Palm Springs, I've gone back to the less expensive option: taxis.
Uber*was* a disruptor, and influenced taxi infrastructure in a couple of positive ways. But Uber is no longer the cheaper alternative it used to be to gain market share.
