Thank you, this helped me put things into perspective. I think I’m going to try writing about joy and love like it’s something I already have, what it will be like when I have it.

I'm built out of sand and discarded hopes and dreams and even that those words alone make me tremble with how self involved they make me seem I build myself with water and blood and half a wish I used to have but it crumbles through my fingers when I try to keep it from falling apart #poetry

things are changing and so am I but am I really or am I stagnant mud in someone else's shoes as they keep moving forward the world is ending and somehow I've deluded myself into thinking I can fix it

I try to be kind I try to try but it never seems like enough to convince myself that I'm anything other than a halfway good person who has as much control over themself as a leaf does the wind

what am I really except an empty shell waiting for the next fleeting passion a roost for impermanent cuts and bruises marrow deep
