I have come to realize I have bad habits. I love to read old dusty books. I also have developed the bad habit of wildlife photography—it makes me buy expensive cameras and lenses. Speaking of bad expensive habits, flying and travel are right up there too!
The end of the road!

Gulls are hard. Don’t tell them, but they all sort of look alike, especially in the juvenile stage. This demure little gull is a juvenile Short Billed Gull. #birds

I’ve started Dick Wybrow’s Kane book series. Totally unbelievable supernatural thriller, but very funny. I always hesitate to read series books, because they can have bad endings after they have drug you through the mud. But, I already looked and this one promises a happy ending. Better have one!

I dutifully worked remotely for years. Rolling out of bed, clad in my jammies (unless I had an early Zoom meeting) and spending 6 to 8 hours in my home office.

Now that I am retired, I can’t make myself go in there, even though I have fun projects I’d like to work on.

I have a pet peeve about ziplock closures on everything. The frozen peas, the salami, the cheese—-all have ziplocks. The problem is they often do not work. You can’t get them open, you can’t get them closed. The company may make a great product, but they don’t know how to make a ziplock.
