I don't need to put more fuel in them later because i have the plutonium fuel rods feeding into drone fuel
18. realize I didn't connect one of the nitric acid blenders and go fix that
19. take another picture
20. post about it and pretend it worked perfectly

13. take pictures
14. realize I forgot to belt some of the manufacturers properly and run to fix that before uranium cooks me alive
15. realize the drones ran out of power and are jammed and go run to fix that before the radiation cooks me alive
16. die
17. go back and throw batteries at the drones

10. Build all the water input to the generators.
11. connect the uranium fuel rod box to the balancer and watch it go
12. realize I misconnected a water pipe to generator one and go "aw fuck" and get roasted by radiation as I run in and try to reconnect it before I die

8. I let the uranium rods start building up in a storage box while I went and built all the generators.
9. Made a load balancer so the rods would be evenly distributed between all 18 generators instead of making a manifold, and connected the balancer output to all generators in sequence

6. after that I built the machines specifically for processing uranium and belted all the necessary materials into them, then built the machines for processing uranium waste and belted the materials into them
7. Then I set up a drone port for uranium and plugged that in

4. Test to make sure all the train lines work.
5. Start building up all the machines in sequence to build the materials needed. In this case I organized the flow chart in s tools so it was stratified by ingots > materials > combined mats until everything needed for uranium processing was done
November 9, 2025 at 3:53 AM
3. Set up infrastructure to connect the base materials to where I wan them to go. In this case it was localized smelting into ingots, except for bauxite which I sent to an off-site to process into aluminum ingots, and then set up train tracks to connect it all to the plant

My step by step was:

1. Tinker in satisfactory dot tools until I had a combination of recipes and materials that I liked (largely this focused on limiting inputs)
2. Figure out where those resources are all available and accessible

Honestly, being intimidated feels appropriate I think. It's a lot. Break it down into smaller digestible parts and handle them one at a time and eventually it'll all be done though!

I think I'm actually home free from ever having to touch a copper node ever again for the rest of the game

my review is that people ain't kidding when they say just do turbo rocket fuel

but I do feel satisfied to see all the nuclear power up and running
