Yeah exactly! I'd imagine this as part of a build up as things are getting a bit weird and the player's starting to be put on edge. It's not a scare by itself but just part of the unnerving atmosphere eventually leading to one

There's also an anim on the main atttactor to push them down occasionally to stop them clumping up, and the moths are just a simple 2 frame sprite. Maybe it could be done more efficiently but couldn't figure it out 🤷‍♂️

By beating my head against a wall for a few hours trying to figure out the particle system 😅

Seriously though, it's a 3D particle system with a lot of high noise turbulence, a sphere attractor to pull the moths to the light and another above to keep them from going too high

Upgrading my mood to a [7] for the sake of testing and because I did actually have a productive end of the day

Today's a [6]. Still feeling motivated and in good spirits but where the actual fuck did half the day go? Should have done so much more 😭

Day 2 test is feeling like an [8]. Feel extremely motivated at the moment and getting plenty done. Snow was a really really nice addition 😄
