Politics is sadly a necessity
Every time I see stories involving ICE, they seem to get closer to this image from Hellsing.

Sadly, they seem to be thinking something similar as ICE acts like they are in a video game or movie.

This.

Doesn't look like it will open another menu, but it does!

I can't believe that I didn't notice the gold thing wasn't centered!

Starbucks workers have authorized a strike for Nov 13, as a response to Starbucks union busting and unwillingness to negotiate.

I get it. Starbucks is easy.

So are other places!

By trying out a new cafe or espresso stand you can have your latte, and help force Starbucks to the table.

(Not a lawyer)

Khojasteh's CV doesn't seem to show a background in this kind of litigation.

Lately, it's been Brotato.
Little bit roguelike, Little bit bullet hell.

Good arcade feel, and a nice way to kill 20 minutes.

Feel free to attach this.

Ok. So... 20-50 years, "millions of people"

Blue Origin's New Shepard has successfully launched 35 (!) times in 10 years.

During this time, it has carried 35 x 6 = 210 people total into outer space.

210. At the end of fifty years, it might even break a thousand.

(1,000 ≠ "millions")

That explains why the flow rate wasn't so good on the sprayer.

(We live in a place with really good water, buildup like this is unusual to see. Glad I decided to bring the hoses and sprinklers in)

Trobbio GIF - You're welcome.

Page 7 of the 2023 military demographics report shows the military is pretty cosmopolitan.

(Available here: download.militaryonesource.mil/12038/MOS/Re...)

Growing up as a military brat, racism was not tolerated our household nor in those of anyone we knew.

This could be stinky bob, could be buttercup, I think you were suggesting this may be (poison) hemlock?

Image of the friezes "Manhatten [Goddess] dancing in the winds"

One found on the internet, the other two serve to verify the depiction, and show how they were displayed on the building.

But engagement makes numbers go up! </s>

A lot of the business models behind social media, and mobile gaming nowadays remind me of the things that led to the Butlerian Jihad in Dune.

I've seen people describe working with LLM agents as letting the computer "think for them".
