It did taste sooo good. It was two layers with lime curd inbetween and crème anglaise with fruit on top.

Magical realism, gothic horror, rediscovering classics I didn’t appreciate in school lol, historical romance, and I’ve been getting into nonfiction that covers big historical events - just finished Midnight in Chernobyl and loved it

I am in the same boat, so to speak. I’m a reader and I love seeing what authors are working on/publishing but I’m on #booksky as a book lover who wants to connect with other book lovers

It’s mostly because I don’t see a lot of books in the genres I connect to. I appreciate fantasy and YA books and have read some, but I don’t naturally connect to them. It feels like most posts are about these genres. So I tend not to interact as much.
