Made a salad with the majority of the ingredients (by mass) grown in the garden by me! 🌱

Used courgettes, french beans, runner beans and tomatoes - all from the garden - and then added a pesto/lemon juice vinaigrette, and some almond flakes :)

Another day, spraying my plants with milk

You can even see the sunspots if you look closely. They have names! The group near the left side of the sun is AR4046, and the one in the upper middle is probably AR4043/4. See if you can spot them for yourselves! I've put today's solar disc below for reference x)

The absolutely scuffed setup required to do it:
An absolutely scuffed setup involving a tripod with some binoculars taped onto it. The sunlight goes through the binoculars and projects a photo onto a surface on the other side. The binoculars are not stared through, only the projection is viewed, safely away from the direction of the sun!

Saw a solar eclipse today! Fun fact - underneath dappled shade (like under a tree) you'll get loads of lil crescents/mini eclipse projections due to the gaps acting like little pinhole cameras :)

This probably explains its low iso as what I've read says that x-ray film must absorb more than one visible light photon before being developable (as visible light has less "energy" per photon!)
