I will say, telling a transphobe to fuck off even though no one else will see it and even though you're getting a lot of pushback from trans people in this thread is a good foundation. A lot of ppl can't even manage *that*. But a foundation is not enough, so please build on it. 🙂

Old Bluesky was happy to welcome in the Brazilian influx, so I think it's mainly that the newcomers are predominately "annoying libs" types and their associated grifters. Also at least one of the grifters literally said they wanted them to take over Bluesky, so I can see why ppl would be upset.
