@gavinverhey.bsky.social not sure if you've seen but I was running the maths for my Ajani deck and I think Edge of Eternities gives us a new "highest non-infinite damage with three cards"! Cast Exalted Sunborn, cast Redoubled Stormsinger, cast Electroduplicate on Sunborn and then Stormsinger, swing!

Won three out of four of my local Store Championships with my beloved fluffy cat deck, the moral is you can always make your favourite cards work :3

Opened this fun printing error in a #MTGTarkir pack. The poor lil guy looks like he got physically punched in the neck by the roller in the machine 😭

"otters is a playable deck" factoid actualy just statistical error. average otters player wins 0 matches per year. Otters Rei, who lives in country of origin withheld & top 8s a dozen tournaments each week, is an outlier adn should not have been counted

I wrote a very brief Ocelot Pride + token doublers maths guide mostly for my own use while playing CAT BLAST but I assume there are other Ocelot Pride enjoyers/sickos out there who will find it helpful! Go out there and make unreasonable numbers of fluffy cats 🐱🐱🐱

Ocelot Pride maths x = Ocelot Prides y = token multiplier (e.g. 4 if you have Anointed Procession and Mondrak) New 1/1 cats in your end step: (y+1)^(x+1)-(y+1) Examples: 2x Ocelot Pride, 1x multiplier: 2^3-2 = 6 tokens 5x Ocelot Pride, 4x multiplier: 5^6-5 = 15,620 tokens Total copies of other tokens that were created this turn, including the originals: (y+1)^x Examples: Ajani makes 1 token, 2x Ocelot Pride, 1x multiplier: 1x2^2 = 4 tokens Ajani makes 4 tokens, 5x Ocelot Pride, 4x multiplier: 4x5^5 = 12,500 tokens Remember to subtract temporary tokens and keep tokens from previous turns separate E.g. 3 temporary Ocelot Prides (plus original), 4x multiplier: 3x5^4-3 = 1,872 tokens after all triggers resolved
