Yes, but then it's not a bolt, see machine screws. It's just terminology. People don't speak in correct terminology.

The bottom bracket crank 'bolts' are screws, there is no nut. (Modern square taper, octalink, ISIS, HT2)
Bottle cage bolts are also screws, again no nut and just going in a preformed threaded part.

When they have the fine thread and not self tapping, they tend to be called machine screws.

First I mid 1994, so a late one in that year.

P7 is mid 1995, not sure if June made would be close enough to be used for the 1996 models (which pretty much followed school years so September ish releases.

You might find it is something like A212 which is a 1993 model Clockwork frame and would have the future graphics on it. You may find they where redone as 1994 with say STX on them.
