Had a great time at the youth art exhibition with Big Buddy today. The arts collective teaching artists, including myself, and our students will have art for display and sale from now until August 3 at the arts council of Baton Rouge.

My goal is to use up all these scrap fabrics in my current designs. I’m trying to figure out what I wanna make next..like a cohesive line of garments.I’m gonna finish what’s on my schedule and see how it all fits together when I’m done. This summer I’m making tote bags, hat, capes, and aprons ✨

I bought fabric while I was in Maryland and I made several aprons out of it. I paired paisley and scrap Jean fabric to make this one. This cutie and her inverse sister are going to a farm in Mississippi.
