“The president determines…” reads to me like Trump ultimately has discretion to say whether an algorithm that is controlled by a foreign adversary counts as “foreign adversary controlled” under the law.

Would be great in theory but policy has nothing to do with election outcomes. It’s tribalism and vibes, and having the D next to a candidates name in a red state is enough to ensure defeat these days.
