I've also weighed the parts, for shits and giggles.:D

The wheels are another curiosity, because they're hookless. ⬇️

You can get adapters for 35mm, or print them yourself if you have an 3D printer at your disposal. ;D

Got some myself, but haven't tried them yet. And with 120 cams you need to take the 35mm film out in the dark, and rewind it manually back in its canister. As normal rewinding isn't possible.

Tja, welche Schlagzeile bekommt bei den Kartoffeln wohl mehr Aufmerksamkeit?

Irgendwie hab ich'n Déjàvu. :D

Five years ago already.
Eventhough I didn't really felt like, because I had to get up early for work, I drove to a watchtower kinda nearby. Just because it was the last chance to look at Neowise, and the condition finally where good enough to do so.
So yeah, comet Neowise, at arround 11:30pm.

The old Rheinmetall Perfekta. What's really fun, and kinda freeing about this thing is its simplicity.
Exp. is either 1/25" or Bulb.
Focus:
f7,7 4,5m - 40m (14ft - 131ft)
f11 3,8 - inf (12ft - inf)
f16 3m - inf (10ft - inf)

Sharpness seems to drop at ~50m (164ft), but stais at this level to inf.

A few of my favorite shots I took with my old Rheinmetall Perfekta. Though not really ment for landscape photography, it produces some nice images.

Another pretty old one I still like. And I really want/ need to redo, simply because M104 aka the sombrero galaxy's one of my favorites. And I have a better suited camera now.

I've gone through some old folders of mine. Some astro photography one's in this case. Maybe I post one or two more the next days.

Finally I've adjusted the distance scale on the front element for focusing.

Judging by the projection on my little makeshift ground glass, and using a magnifying glass, the lens's surprisingly sharp. Even wide open.
Except the corners, as usual with these old cameras.^^

I've been always curious how setting the shutter speed on these worked.
Just watch the little pin at 11 o'clock going through 1/25s, 1/50s, 1/100s, 1/200s and bulb.

Shutter, aperture and even the self timer works nicely again.

After a handful of oil, and even more acetone, and then some more acetone everything's cleaned up.

Thanks to a happy little accident I've got my hands on an old Wirgin folding camera.
The problem was that its struts were bent and the lubricant was completely gummed up so the leaf shutter was barely moving with some help. And the aperture was completely stuck.

First one's a digitized 120 Film negative, edited in Lightroom.
The other two are cyanotypes, one on photo printer paper and the other on water color paper.
Both made with the modified entlarger:

The modified analog entlarger. The power supply gave me some headaches, but I managed to get it to work.
Works pretty good, but could be better regarding exposure times. Or maybe I need to experiment with the cyanotype furmula a bit.

I feel this.

Got myself a nice tractor beam goin. :D
Now I only need to mount the uv projector on this old analog entlarger.

I've first played with cyanotypes around 2 years ago when I first stumbled upon this technique.

But what I really wanted, was doing larger prints using my middle format negs, god I just love their size.

Tried another formula/ technique, and just did some contact prints as test for now. We'll see.
