They get special permission to do it. Its technically a penalty. The 1st time they did it, the road team (I think) was penalized for improper uniforms. It's essentially a delay of game. The hone team declined the penalty and the game was played without incident. More of this would be good.

It was a no brainer. The game ended with that call. They took what should have been a 1 score game and made it a 2 score game with time running out. Kick it and extend the game.

They keep saying "the analytics say to do that." Who wrote those freaking analytics. It is dumb and will always dumb. The Eagles scored a TD in a 2-score game and turned it into a....2 score game. There is no scenarion in which that is correct.
