So there‘s this interview with James Talarico from #texas, one that wasn’t allowed to air on TV, and the dude‘s seems to have his heart on the right spot. So if you can vote in Texas, and don’t vote for him I can only assume that your candidate is pretty effin good, or you’re a professionally […]

I care less about whether you use AI, I care more about on which side will you fight when the current system of goods ownership and transfer comes down as its internal structure has been hollowed out.

Sad that QUERY never really became a thing FASTER in the HTTP verbs area. But looks like it could be coming this year :)

I get these sort of responses all the time from a code assistant, so if you don't pack in at least a few years worth of hands-on experience in coding systems, there is a good chance that LLMs will be bullshitting you all the way up to the max entropy that your software system will reach.

A couple of days ago I was so fed up with OSX usability that I installed two apps:

- Magnet: An old aquaintance of mine, for docking windows to the left / right / half / two thirds etc.
- Dory: A better way to switch between open applications

Currently in the middle of retraining my muscle […]

@shanselman Dear Scott, I couldn’t help but notice that your Podcast seems to be on a hiatus. Maybe I never witnessed previous breaks, but is it a temporal thing or in fact the end of an era?

I don't think that time heals the feeling of loss of loved ones.

It's more that you build safe roads and bridges across the hole they left, and you know most of the time how to route your inner traffic to use those roads, but if you skid off the road, you can fall into the very same hole that […]

What’s amazing is that I remember some 80ies winters to be darn cold, but in fact it was already getting warmer.

On a tangent, I became witness of the last big snow in #freiburg in 2006.

Today my wordle constraint solver didn't find a solution. It was using previously played words to be even sharper.

Turns out that today a word has been played that according to "past wordle answers" has already been played.

So either the data is wrong, or that would be a first.
