Many “Gifted Students” Are Nerodivergent kids whose complexity of Neurotypes is not yet revealed until later in life.

The DX of ASD for example references this phenomena as

“but may not become fully manifest until social demands exceed limited capacities”
C. Symptoms must be present in the early developmental period (but may not become fully manifest until social demands exceed limited capacities or may be masked by learned strategies in later life).

I'm Polaris, battling a bunch of chronic symptoms after a burnout and dealing with a rare weird thing called PSC. Been out of work for a couple of years now, so art helps "^^
I do mostly my OCs from stories I'm writing, which hopefully will become books, and some fanarts 😉🖤
A half-body illustration of my original dark fantasy character, Kathleen Rose, a vampire hunter. She is walking under the moonlight, with the moon and dark forest behind her, while holding her sword and drenched in blood. She is pale and has pale blond hair down to her waist, flowing in the wind, while her eyes are green framed by an almost warpaint like black shiny makeup, smudged carelessly around her eyes. She wears only black clothes: a leather vest up to her neck with sharp shoulders, a pair of leather pants, linen shirt and gloves. She wears a few brown belts to hold purses and weapons, as well as brown leather braces. On her shirt, there's a detail in light blue and lilac on the arms, and she wears her sword belt, made of silver squares embellished with roses, strapped around her torso/chest. She also has a few silver spikes on her clothes: on the vest around her neck and on her braces, which extends to her hands - being quite useful for punching her enemies and causing a little more damage. The majority of the blood is on her hand/forearm holding her sword and close to her chest, as well as a few stripes going down her face almost like tears. A half body illustration of the character Loki from the Marvel universe, but in his frost giant (Jotun) form. He has a few braids on a shoulder length hair, with his classic horned helmet being more of a headband. He wears a large fur cape around his shoulders, as well as a large neck/chest piece with a knotwork pattern - the same pattern is repeated on his staff. He has a few marks on his face and chest, the ones he would have as a frost giant. He is also wearing gold and black pants, as well as golden bracers with fur. The background is dark blue on top and light blue below, as if it's snowing. His looks is very much inspired by his Marvel Rivals design, but I wanted to work on a more Norse God looking version of it - still as if it was one of his skins in game. That's why I chose the braided hair, lots of fur and detailed knotwork on the golden patches. The fur is also more on the gray side, as a little nod to Fenrir and a sort of "wolf in sheep's clothing" kind of thing.
