I love that 10+ years later (probably more like 13+), I'm still using photos taken by @foggymoonpottery.bsky.social. It totally plays into my "refuse, reduce, reuse, recycle" mindset. Set up a @bigcartel.com site with a few listings to start. We'll see how this goes, & possibly upgrade. I think I'd like to point those interested in bulk orders to this site to make things easier for me. Invoicing after delivery has been a drag.

Not planning to leave Etsy but would like an EASY alternative for selling pricier items w/o the fees. With these listings, while I do get sales from those who find me via Etsy marketplace, most buyers are long-time customers who would probably mail me cash in a greeting card if I requested it.

1st post! I've found relief in downsizing to a "side gig that makes extra cash." No prioritizing wholesale obligations (charging break-even prices, eating shipping & waiting months for payment), for one. And, two, no suffering ridiculous demands. It's all about -me- in this phase of my handmade biz.
