Wow "ignorant to dwell on it"? how about this when we know better we do better! or Evil prevails when the good do nothing!

Now correct me if I am wrong, but I thought the idea of thanksgiving was where the native people and traditional owners of the land that a group of people came to without "permission" but were given food and help so that they didn't starve and die, because that is what humans do, Am I wrong?
