my broad theory being that because transphobia, like any other prejudice, broadly overlaps with low levels of inclination towards self-reflection or empathy, it has simply never occurred to these people that someone could or might earnestly want to change their gender—

in the course of her ranting she’s written some really…interesting stuff about her own gender, including that she believes she may have been transed if she was a child today. at the very least she has an unsettled relationship with femininity and is projecting resentment onto trans women about it
