The "Langbett" of Munkwolstrup (just south of Flensburg) is a in 2002 reconstructed long barrow. At 70m(!) long, it is one of the largest objects of its kind in Northern Europe. It is part of Arnkiel-Park, an archeological area which hosts 7 Neolithic grave sites #TombTuesday

Happy #TombTuesday 🪨! This weekend I visited the only dolmen in Berlin, the „Großsteingrab“ (big stone grave) of Steinbergpark. This is not an original neolithic structure, but rather a "reconstruction" from the interbellum period of unclear origin.

Ich habe kurz gezählt: ein durchschnittlicher Stau auf der #A100 im Vergleich zu einer Demo. Das Ergebnis: Die Autobahn kann viel effizienter genutzt werden als Fahrrad- und Fußgängerzone: befördert mindestens fünfmal so viele Personen pro Abschnit!
