The official hollow Knight discord server sure is a trip... got timed out for a whole day just for reciting in-game dialogue, my mistake for not knowing the mods are so puritanical ig

I decided to draw this art to blow off some steam. if I posted it in the server I would assuredly get banned.

A satirical artwork featuring 3 layers. each zoomed out layer is a reaction to the previous layer within. Within the innermost layer the silksong character Creige is saying "Nectar from the teat" which is a piece of dialogue he says within the game.

The second layer has two simply drawn somewhat slug like hunched back police officers which are representative of the discord moderators for the official hollow Knight discord server.

- The one on the left says "by God, that's in game dialogue! BAN HIM!" freaking out over the fact that somebody said dialogue that's in the game.
- The cop on the right says in a panicked tone "No Wait! we can't ban him! He's in the game!"
- Upon receiving this information, the cop on the left only becomes even more perturbed, saying "OH GOD NO!!" as they cannot ban the individual because they are actually a character from the game, both the cops are holding their hands on their heads in disarray.

The outermost layer has 2 other cops reacting to the second layer, referencing it as a post that has been made somewhere.

- the cop on the left has their hand over the square containing the second layer and says "well well well, Looks like we've got a post over here questioning authority, through satirical artwork..."
- upon looking at the post and hearing this information, the cop on the right is fuming and enraged, they react in an overly livid manner with their hands clawed in the air above their head saying "Questioning authority? ...making fun of authority? CHALLENGING authority? We can't have that it's strictly NOT ALLOWED, we must Perma-ban them for posting this artwork, at once!"

this is the current most zoomed out state of the artwork, were it to be posted in the discord that prompted its creation the server moderators (through whatever actions they end up taking) would get to decide what the next zoom out would look like and what it would be.

in my head of these are supposed to have been written by some fictional character about some fictional thing, all within the same world.

The lengths vary, and some are long, and some are short.

A demon of old overcome by joy, free from all bindings, bounded no longer to any meaning thing. his hair is long and reaching to his knees, it is a red not of burning rock or boiled blood but instead like a shimmering flare upon the sky.
He strokes it back taking in the material world in his original form, and though the waist of his stomach remains torn from the battle of his binding and is no longer there to be found he could not muster much a care in his current state.

His emotion is like heat, and the wind itself runs warm.
