I think he misuses the word "intuition". Intuition is what comes after you have done the math. The "intuition" people have without math is just a hunch (the elaborated version of which is actually BS). So I'd say no intuition without math.

Incredible graph. I reposted it and @fvelde.bsky.social made a very astute observation: why is it not exactly symmetric around (0,0)?

good catch! It kind of is, which is why--having looked but superficially--I saw no red flag. But it is true there is a difference, and I wonder if there's some funky re-weighing going in the background, or what drives that. Perhaps the original poster could chip in.
