Kaede is forever grateful to Minfilia for welcoming her into the Scions, and regrets that she didn't get to know her better before her death.
Kaede respects Tataru's dedication to the Scions and she's always happy to help with Tataru's business endeavors, but doesn't know if they'll ever be close.

Kaede cares deeply for Estinien after everything they've been through together. He sometimes treats her with the same big brotherly affection that he does with Alphinaud, despite the fact that she's only a few years younger than him. She finds his sometimes blunt honesty refreshing.

She wishes she could spend more time with Thancred, Krile, Urianger, Ryne and Y'shtola. She wants to get to know them more in the day to day, instead of when a crisis in on.
She feels deeply protective of their younger members like Alphinaud, Alisaie and Ryne, as if they were her younger siblings.
