ended up liking this more than i thought i would as the beginning really didn’t work for me. but towards the end i enjoyed it a lot more. the ending didn’t quite hit, but i liked it enough to give the second book a try. 3 stars

hit me extra hard as an older sibling with a really close relationship to my younger sibling. like the author did a wonderful job portraying sisters who love each other more than anything in the world

like it wasn’t a perfect book. the beginning took a bit to get going, but it was so worth it. definitely 5 stars for the emotions it brought out in the end.
