My Bambu Labs A1 is so cool! It will use up all of the filament I have and then just kill itself and the print. I've had multiple projects stalled for weeks because this printer will just freeze up while printing, and the only way to fix it is to cut the power and hope it works next time.

I honestly hate CS2 so much. I get kicked from games randomly for no reason all the time but you will never see VAC take down actual hackers. I miss when this game had maps and different gamemodes and stable servers.

Working with the in-game level editor for Portal 2 feels so restrictive that I find myself intentionally making test chambers with unnecessarily weird geometry in hammer to compensate.

Mask took 4 days instead of the initial 13 hours I'd hoped to get it done in, but it's finally finished.
I can't see anything out of it. I've walked into 2 bushes and a glass door already.

One last little thing:
Most versions of office have whiteboards along the back walls. I'm considering making blank textures and posting the png files publicly so anyone can draw on/sign them them and send them back to me. I'd publish the end result in the map! (As long as it's inoffensive!)

I'm trying my best to push source2 to it's limits while keeping it retro. Everything in this image (with the exception of the filing cabinets and door) can be knocked off the wall, kicked around or broken. The world just feels more alive when you can toss a grenade and scatter props everywhere!

I even took this old sign from Half-Life: Blue Shift and turned it into a physical pizza box model that can be knocked around in the map. Over an hour of work on a single prop just because I thought it would be neat.

Most of the textures weren't the right resolution, so I had to hand-paint bits of them in gimp to scale them up. Some of the colors and textures looked too flat, so I started hand-painting every single normal/roughness map to make them look 3D.

This ended up turning into a week-long ordeal where I have begun re-building cs_office from the ground up. I've learned the engine, re-balanced the map, and I'm designing it to look like a goldsource map from CS 1.6

I have this issue where I get distracted by something I find interesting and it turns into a project that takes up all of my time and energy and becomes my personality.
I used to love making counter-strike maps, so I decided to play around with the new engine.
