Trump/MAGA mistakenly believes the world freeloads off the US, that the US holds all the cards & trade agreements mean nothing.

China should wait until real shortages take hold in the US to make this lesson as PAINFUL as possible, b/c pain is sometimes the only way to get thru to stupid ppl.

...and they're proud of it.

That whole tech bros ethos of "Move fast, break things" might work with some start-up venture but not with a government and certainly not with government agencies whose duty is to keep the country secure & its citizens safe.

"rude", "very negative." 😆 Here's the pic I replied to & a link to my reply. Sure the pic's cute but when ppl can't tell a doctored image apart then that IS problematic. My reply only points out the alteration, makes no accusation, and only a warning to increase awareness of manipulated imagery.

I'd say Russia's advanced anti-drone radar was a success. It definitely found Ukrainian drones.

Lower photo has been digitally manipulated. In the lower image, the black-capped chickadee's size is too small in relation to the squirrel.

This is how big a chickadee is in relation to an adult human hand.

Don't readily believe everything you see on the Internet.

If these two assholes are talking over the heads of Ukrainians, this won't amount to anything. With a Trump admin, 🇺🇸 can't be trusted. The EU needs to get off their collective asses, step up their mil-aid to 🇺🇦 unless they all want to be fighting 🇷🇺 troops on their own borders in the near future.

Video from that new series: "The Barely Walking Dead".

But seriously... I can't imagine the amount of loathing Putin has for 🇷🇺 citizens for him to not bat an eye while doing THIS to them. It's just insanity...

I do agree it shouldn't have taken practically a whole year for the 🇺🇸 just to grant permission for allies to donate their own F-16s when time is of the essence. This is why it's vital that each country diversify its suppliers, more so now that the 🇺🇸 has an unpredictable admin.

The trickling in of F-16s was timed to synchronize with 🇺🇦 pilot & ground crew training programs to maximize their chances of survival. The same thing is happening with the Mirage 2000-F5 donations. They're being trickled in as more pilots & ground crew are trained & facilities prepared.
February 12, 2025 at 12:34 PM
To be fair, you can't dump a tonne of new aircraft on a country at war. Before this war, 🇺🇦 never had F-16s so more support infrastructure is needed. Jets on the ground w/o enough pilots, ground crew & hardened weatherproof hangars are easy targets & will rapidly degrade in 🇺🇦's harsh winters.

The 🍊💩 tried the trade war stunt with 🇨🇳 in 2018 & it devastated 🇺🇸 agriculture. $27Bn lost exports, $28Bn taxpayer funded bailout, >500 🇺🇸 farms closed, rise in bankruptcies & Midwest farmer suicides, 300k+ 🇺🇸 ancillary jobs lost.

Why are people so incapable of learning from the past? 🤦‍♂️
February 12, 2025 at 12:14 PM
There might be something to this. It's as if 🇷🇺 believes that 🇺🇦 is using automated drones that acquire targets based on motion & staying still makes them less detectable. Otherwise, I can't think of any reason why 🇷🇺 believes this is a viable tactic at all especially at close range. 🤷‍♂️
February 9, 2025 at 11:08 PM
Wow, that's mind-blowing! 🙃

This will slow down already hampered 🇷🇺 logistics even further.

It's like a contemporary version of Operation Eldest Son where the U.S. seeded enemy ammo caches with exploding cartridges during the Vietnam War.

There are maybe around 27 to 32 Su-57s in existence. When you take into account that some are prototypes and some are held back for testing & parts, there are maybe 22 to 25 operational Su-57s.

Wire guidance for munitions has been in use in some form since 1945. Before fiber optic, thin copper wire was used to guide ATGMs and torpedoes. Fiber optic drones can't be jammed nor do they transmit any signal back to the operator so they're harder to detect. It's not dumb at all.

Load the video into a video editor and scrub the video back and forth. You'll notice that the wiggling is in sync with the video blurring of foreground elements like light sources. It's just camera motion.

The distillation towers are targeted which are very expensive, very complex, custom made, very difficult to repair. If sanctions remain in place & with the time it takes to replace a distillation tower, some refineries could be offline for many months if not a couple of years. 🇺🇦 has hit over 30!
