Finished a repaint of one of the first fan arts I did after season 2 came out and I first picked up my pencils again. First ones the digital finished art, second without the text and haze so the background is clearer and the last is the original coloured pencils. #goodomens #fanart

Look what MrFloof's Great Aunt gifted me! She bought it as a gift for her mum in ~1960s, then inherited it when she passed. Needs a good clean, but I did a quick check and she runs perfectly.
The machine is solid metal so we had to unscrew it from the cupboard to get it up the stairs.

I also made a spring in an offcuts of copper wire whilst I was eating to use the roller press. Because.... why not?

Back in class today after half-term. Tested out using wire and a press to indent the shape of the bone structure, accidentally cut a bit of it off though 🤦 oh well, it's a test piece.
This one's a bit larger and I like it better so I think I'm going to do my final piece in copper instead of silver

Copper concept piece nearly done for my silversmithing class, the bat wing needs something but I don't know what yet. I also need to drill a hole in the top of each wing to put a jump ring through from the chain/cord. #goodomens peeps should recognise what this is!

As if spending nearly two hours sawing copper sheet wasn't enough, I got home and decided to trap a dice in chainmail rings.

Started a mock-up of my final piece, the wings will be in silver and the sand timer in copper. Next week I'm tidying it up and getting some texture on it.

Made two more pendants in class. One is a heart soldered on an oval, and the other is hammered with a high polished mini heart hanging from it. The hearts and oval are cut out with a stamp and I made the jump rings myself!

I started a silversmithing course a couple of weeks back and have finished my first copper training piece.
Originally I was going to buff it to a high shine, but then I remembered I had some buffed copper chain in the house that would go perfectly.

Yup, surprise, it's a totally different style, I don't really have one 😅
When I was zoomed in in the reference image I noticed you could see one of David Tennants nose hairs, so I couldn't resist drawing it in 🤣
