Definitely agree. I vastly prefer writing types in JSDoc comments because they’re easier to read, don’t obstruct the flow and don’t require a build step to remove.

I like that you used “c” to avoid confusion between “Celsius” and “Centigrade”, but I feel like using the whole word “Fahrenheit” is a trap!

Looks easy enough for end users, but there’s zero upgrade info for plug-in authors. Even the official ones have become “legacy” overnight.
