My best friend’s kids go to Abundant Life and yesterday was one of the worst days of my life. It took them hours before she was reunited with her children. You’re so right, kids don’t have to live like this and shouldn’t be living like this. We have morally failed our children.

When I saw her text my heart stopped. I immediately started to cry. When I called her, she was still waiting to be reunited with her kids. I had to avoid social media and the news yesterday. You don’t think something like that can happen to you or those you know until it does.
