My autumn/winter knit is done. A shawl neck zip up cardigan from an Erika Knight pattern. Knitted in Natural Meadow chunky (100% Suffolk wool) from Baa Ram Ewe in Pimpernel Orange.

Pattern can be found in 'Work in Progress' by Erika Knight

I you fancy learning to make these lovely crochet festive baubles with Vivienne Richmond of botaniq, using natural dyed 'plant silk', you can book a place on our workshop on Nov 30th. The class will be held in our shop in St Leonards on Sea.

The wonderful Erika Knight book 'Texture' is now in store along with several of the designers original samples from the book. We love the deconstructed creative approaches of these patterns, its a flock favourite.

It's a wild and windy morning here in St Leonards and it feels like knitting weather. We are open form 10am today and have lots of lovely things, including an exclusive batch of natural dyed yarn from Annabel Williams created just for flock!

As we are currently are unable to ship to the USA we would love to hear about any small producers in the States that are making great breed specific yarn, especially small flocks. We'd like to spread the word to our US customers and learn about them ourselves. 🇺🇸🐑🇬🇧

Like many small businesses in the UK we have made the difficult decision to stop shipping to the USA from Monday 18th August, due to the trade tariffs and the removal of the ‘de minimis’ exemption. We’re really gutted about this & we hope that it will only be a temporary pause.

A rather lovely and very caring little knitted chicken sits on the sofa making sure that you are ok. Her expression is open and calm and she is happy to listen to everything that is on your mind and reassure you that you have made it difficult times before and you will again.
