Update of the Figures in Schulz 2020 (original paper: doi.org/10.1007/s121...) with the data of the 2022 German Time Use Study (documentation of update: doi.org/10.17605/osf...). Here comes Figure 1... #sociology #demography

Update of Steinbach & Schulz's (doi.org/10.1093/sp/j...) Figure 1 for parents' childcare time in Germany (all children < 10) with the most recent German Time Use Survey (doi.org/10.17605/osf...). Any ideas about the surprisingly large increase between 2012/2013 and 2022? #sociology #demography

A very first look into the time use for housework in single-person households in Germany, 2022. Could be valuable in the light of recent research for example by @arianeophir.bsky.social @jgarciaroman.bsky.social @lsayer.bsky.social #sociology #demography

Squeezing our data as much as possible, @soerentum.bsky.social and I put together an update on the cohabitation gradient in parents' childcare time in Germany (doi.org/10.31235/osf...). Not the most spectacular findings, indeed, but hopefully enough for publication somehow. #sociology #demography

In our paper, we adapt @joannapepin.bsky.social's visualization of U.S. couples' money arrangements to the German context. Using German Family Panel data, we show how these arrangements vary by cohort and age group. Replication files + high-res plot: github.com/maraab23/Cou... #FReDA #pairfam

I did a visualization of the development of housework time in West and East Germany with the German Time Use Study, 1991-2022. Available from @socarxiv.bsky.social : doi.org/10.31235/osf... Hope someone finds it useful! #sociology #demography
