Update of Steinbach & Schulz's (doi.org/10.1093/sp/j...) Figure 1 for parents' childcare time in Germany (all children < 10) with the most recent German Time Use Survey (doi.org/10.17605/osf...). Any ideas about the surprisingly large increase between 2012/2013 and 2022? #sociology #demography

Squeezing our data as much as possible, @soerentum.bsky.social and I put together an update on the cohabitation gradient in parents' childcare time in Germany (doi.org/10.31235/osf...). Not the most spectacular findings, indeed, but hopefully enough for publication somehow. #sociology #demography
