Headed to #RadTechCon by boat. Not the quickest or cheapest way to get there, but a lot less stress than taking the tube in #London during rush hour. Taking in some sights. I remember when the Thames Barrier, the Millenium Dome, and the cable car were built, but never visited when I lived here.

Tonight's the night! Seeing (singer songwriter) @tommcraemusic.bsky.social at Tolhuistuin, which is just a free ferry ride across from #Amsterdam Centraal station. Tom + band will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of his debut self-titled album. Still a classic and more relevant than ever!

The English lady who created these amazing public gardens in #Taormina #Sicily - Florence Trevelyan. Associated with the future King Edward, but then came to Sicily and married locally. Sadly, her son died shortly after childbirth. Thereafter, she threw herself into philanthropy.

Final morning of holiday on #Sicily + #AeolianIslands. Things didn't quite pan out in terms of volcano trekking (Etna) because of bad weather + an eruption, but instead saw some amazing views from #Castelmola and the relaxing public gardens created in #Taormina by an English lady

For tonight at least, I have a room with a view. Was meant to be going hiking around #Etna Nord tomorrow morning, but the guides have postponed until Friday due to forecast thunderstorms...except I'll be staying in Taormina by then and there'll be a train strike, so y'know, logistics 🤔🌋⛈️⚒️🧪

Postcard from #Vulcano, which for me as a tourist felt like paradise, but I'm sure that not the case for locals. Hiked up Gran Cratere della Fossa, took a dip in geo-whirlpools, went on a 1 hour driving tour around the island, and had a pistachio granita.

#Stromboli volcano is such a tease! Every time I momentarily turned away or my phone camera switched off, ka-boom! Finally managed to capture this moment, not even the most spectacular event of evening! Thought I was going to hear more. It's an acoustically well-studied volcano. Mostly heard goats 🌋

Listened to #Coldplay soundcheck whilst queueing outside Goyang Stadium #Seoul, including a dash of Otis (Sitting On the Dock of the Bay). What a treat! This is the living part of life inbetween work, work, work back in the UK.

Currently on a bus to Goyang Stadium for the first #Coldplay gig of the week in #Seoul. Pics from a quick 1 hour jaunt around Dongdaemun Design Plaza and Cheonggyecheon stream earlier today. The acoustics of the plaza strongly dampen the sound from the traffic around it, so it's an oasis of calm

My first night in #Seoul. Managed to push through the sleep deprivation for a jaunt to #GwangjangMarket by bus (metro on the return). Tried cold buckwheat noodles with young radish kimchi + sesame seeds, which I was told to mix together. Refreshing and delicious. Also hotteok, which is doughnutty.

In the middle is a Korean lady who is famous from a Netflix TV series on Asian street food. She is cooking food for tourists sat at benches and tables in a square around her.

Never have I been pummeled so hard in my life as by this massage chair in #Seoul. It had a vice-like grip on my ankles so I couldn't escape, and then it tickled my feet whilst flipping me backwards and kneading my back like it was bread dough! 😂

Cannot believe that it has been 25 years since Tom McRae became the first artist I ever worked with internationally back in my record company years. His self-titled debut album has stood the test of time, and then some! Go hear it live on Tom's Northern European tour this autumn. 🎼🎵🎙🎧

Oops, I did it again! In the last hour of wandering round #Copenhagen, I realised I was in the vicinity of Cakenhagen, which is doing this laminated, mocha cream-filled #fastelavnsbolle 😋 I swear this was the final bun of my trip to Denmark. I was yearning for a salad + green juice at CPH airport.

Stop number 3 of my #Copenhagen bakery crawl for #fastelavnsboller : Hart Bageri on Gammel Kongevej. Went for the burnt honey and citrus one. More like a croissant texture, yuzu marmalade, a scattering of nuts?
