From what Ibai said, there were 3 options aviable, Jojo being one of them. Melzhet wanted the other 2 players way more.

Which is my entire point since the beginning. Teams don't care enough. That's why this region will never go forward.

I don't know the solutions. What I know is that the teams in tier 1 are not really TRYING. In every other sport, having someone hired just to exclusively watch and analyse talent is a given. Common sense. But apparently it's not being done here in LEC, which shows their priorities very well.

Sadly, once a player reaches tier 1, their performance is more affected by their current sorrounding that the previous work put into the game. That's why in my opinion, as long as the current system stands, Europe will not see an overall tier 1 improvement.

I'm not talking tier 2 because my knowledge of it is vastly limited. I'm talking about LEC. Believing that the work ethic of most of our teams is similar to that of the top tier asian teams is bonkers to me.

If you work the same amount and don't produce the same results, then you are either less talented or the way you work is less efficient or plain wrong.
While it's true that the LCK and LPL have better talent and ladder, it doesn't explain the entire gap that exists.

Honestly, the region needs an overhaul in terms of work ethics. They will never catch up with the LPL and LCK if they don't work as hard as them. In addittion to being patient for 3-4 years at the very least to see some results. But most teams don't want that. They want to make money.
