I didn’t show y’all my first panel photo for my curtain project. It’s too short. That one can go behind the bed. I know better on the rest. That’s why we start with one! Also rod pocket doesn’t have room for error. I got a little crooked, that was rough.

In exciting news. Here’s a painting I bought at an estate sale for $250. It’s huge. My foot is in the photo. The frame is 5 ft wide. It’s oil. It’s real. I love it. Artist is Love Thomas which is ironic bc I’m sending it to St. Thomas. It’s authenticated, but I’m in over my head. It’s beautiful.

New bookshelf for Iz’s toys. This house looks like I have a small child. I just have one that we borrow. It was $96 from an estate sale. Very solid. Pretty old. Very happy with it.

Hey #sewing folks. Has anyone used headliner (like for a car) as curtain backing? I’m doing floor to ceiling wall curtains. They’re covering a window that keeps the shutter on 365. Here’s my curtain fabric & a bed finial.

My bday is Sunday. Making a quick trip to VA to see our St. Thomas friends. I assumed we’d have a normal for all of us Sunday. Low key, good food, football. Asked Joel “No, Jeremy got a table for the early game.” What? Whattt? Where? Joel doesn’t know. Jeremy did great for my birthday last year 🤣

Today has been better! I ordered 20 yards of fabric for wall curtains because I’m a sadist. I told my mom I had wanted them to block noise. She said “It’s just one seam! Get what you want for the fabric.” Easy to say when you aren’t the one sewing 🤣

Was running a fever sick yesterday. We uninstalled our wall oven last night. New one came today. Got it in & wired it. It works! Now we can measure for a new microwave.

The three year old at my house for five hours today- Sheww. She’s going to do something big. Maybe run an entire nation. Her hand is also painted green but she wasn’t dressed enough for the internet. (I’m not joking she’s a force & tough negotiator).
