I agree,it's the best way to practice yoga, you can see and feel your body position. When doing the tree pose, try not to put your foot to knee. The pressure can cause knee problems, shin or thigh for the placement of the non standing foot.

Keeping it less rigid so if you miss a few sessions you don't go for the increase in weight/reps.
But have a plan for each session before you go that I feel is key.

Even having a loose progression plan, like on 3rd week up the reps by 6 on 6th week up the weight and drop reps on 9th week up reps, on 12th up weights and drop reps etc.

I know that having a plan can add some pressure, but I honestly find it reduces pressure in the long run. As when you get to the gym you know what you are doing.
