Peter Bradshaw of The Guardian gave the film one star out of five, comparing it to "A John Lewis Christmas ad directed by Satan". Bradshaw added "This is one of those British family comedies that make you want to soil the Union flag with your own faeces in the cinema foyer before setting fire to it." Robbie Collin of The Daily Telegraph called the film "a garbled, sprayed-around mess", in his one star review and added, "As soon as I left the cinema, I went looking for a donkey to kick me in the head." Isitt defended the film following its scathing reception, saying "These critics are just so out of touch with what people like and want." In response to Bradshaws scathing review, Isitt stated, "What on earth is wrong with Peter Bradshaw? He is disgusting and like a troll and should be ashamed of himself. Was he sent to boarding school and abandoned? Perhaps he’s insane". In response to Collins review, Isitt said "I would do it for free… and in my high heels".

Recently joined TARDIS Guide for fun (and as a handy excuse to read/watch/listen to everything in our library I haven't touched yet)

I don't know what's scarier, the fact I've already done over 1,800 stories, or the fact that it only constitutes 20% of Dr. Who total 😅

The Doctor's thoughts were following the same train. Only his went further. At the end of that episode - and episode he christened 'The Mark of the Rani' - the two renegades were sent spinning into space locked in the Rani's TARDIS. Hurtling, out of control, towards the far reaches beyond the Milky Way. How, then, had the Master escaped?

European here, I was surprised recently when looking through old Official Nintendo Magazines to see their review of Mega Man X's WiiWare release that gives it a very positive score... but still contrives to frame it within the narrative of "there are too many Mega Man games"
A review of Mega Man X's release on WiiWare. Why have Mario and Sonic endured while Mega Man is close to being put in retirement? Is it because running right and shooting things has gone out of fashion, while running right and bouncing on heads hasn't? Released in 1994, Mega Man took his time to make his SNES debut, but it was worth the wait. Set 100 years later, Mega Man X shook things up by giving the blue bot wall-jumping skills, a chargeable X-Buster arm cannon and new weapons upon completing each of the game's eight levels. Some complained that it was too easy and, admittedly, it isn't as tough as Mega Man 2, but it's a challenge and a joy to play from beginning to end, as Mega Man comes up against some excellent enemies, including an ice-breathing penguin and a mandrill that attacks you with electricity. So good, it spawned eight sequels. Thrown in the main series plus Legends, Battle Network, and Zero, and he's starred in over 50 games. No wonder he's ready to hang up his blue boots. 86% + Tom East

Slightly crazy that it's cheaper to buy used copies of Galaxy 1 & 2 and a used Wii to play them on than buying the Switch edition of both games on Amazon
Used copies of Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, costing £10 and £15 respectively. Used Wii's, both listed for £45. The right one has a Link decal on the front, and is missing the flap on the top. Amazon listing for Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 HD, listed for £79.99.

It's very interesting that Dr. Who deliberately avoids mentioning his part in stopping the Dalek Invasion of Earth

John Smith still remembered being the Doctor, the memories were just sleeping in his mind as dreams and - funnily enough - stories. Same thing applies.
