A goal of mine for Pow! was to make an animated short film centering a contemporary Native American story that could compete with major award winning projects, which is why I’m so proud to have our NORTH AMERICAN PREMIERE at Oscar Qualifying film festival AmDocs in Palm Springs on March 30th!

FlickerLab is so very proud to have animated and helped produce this beautiful short with return collaborator, and deep creative crush, @joeytainment.bsky.social. And for it to be premiering at the Maoriland Film Festival? We are without words, just joy.
Pow! is having our WORLD PREMIERE at Maoriland Film Festival in New Zealand on March 28th! It was important to me for this project to premiere in front of an Indigenous crowd and I’m so happy that one of the the largest Indigenous festivals in the world is the first audience that gets to see it!
