Our corgi does this... We call it having a “pool party”, and always results in water and paw prints across the floor, despite how much we try to train it out of him 🙃

Super Metroid. I’d rent it, and just hang out outside of the cave entrance. It was so “cool”, but at the same time, the music/atmosphere was unlike anything else.

SNES Jurassic Park, once you go into first person (especially in the dark) is another standout memory.

Had a very similar experience recently. I love our puppy, but sometimes I just really, really, really miss our old dogs. It has gotten better, and I think it just accelerates processing the grief? Especially as the puppy has established their own personality and imprint on our home.

Most notably, posting my own music on MySpace even though the platform was dying, trading music gear on random forums and local Craigslist, finding online resources that taught better than my classes (Paul’s Online Math Notes), and buying digital games Xbox Live Arcade for the first time.

Bought Ruiner after your video on it, and have been loving it!

I’m hoping that the negative rage bait amplifier phase of YouTube will end soon. At some point people have to stop being drawn to that, right?

This is an extremely good thread. I’ve felt the same way intuitively, but hadn’t been able to put it all together like this.
