Last week we had a foot of snow, today our high is 76°

So we had unprecedented amounts of snow on Tuesday here in NOLA and some of it is still sticking around today! But it's gonna be back up to 70° in a couple of days 😞
Now I'm sick and all of my joints hurt bc I'm pretty much elderly, but the snow was totally worth it. Very pretty, lots of fun, 10/10

It's also been threatening to rain for the past 2 days. I have a mixed relationship with cloudy skies. I like that it's not as bright, but it really wears me down after a while.

Woken up from another nightmare. It's difficult to explain.. my husband ended up in a different dimension & I was trying to get him back. The rest is some psychological symbolism. At least it isn't hot outside, right?

I was woken up by my husband coming home at 1am & I can't get back to sleep nearly 3 hours later.
My stupid brain is keeping me up by replaying all the things that make me sad & anxious.

Last night I had a nightmare of me driving off a highway split here in NOLA. Woke up abruptly with my heart pounding at 3am. I can't remember a night that I haven't woke up at 3 😞

Now it's hot again.. but it's gonna get real cold later in the week so maybe I won't bitch about it too much. Lol jk I stay bitching about the weather.

I keep waking up around 3 - 4am, no matter what time I fall asleep. It's really wearing me down 😞 Usually I can go right back to sleep but sometimes it takes a couple of hours.

I haven't complained about the weather today bc it was clear blue skies with a crisp 70° high. Right now it's a ✨breezy✨ 59°
