I read that this was a real "thing" in pre-roman Britan - they would sacrifice someone and drag them around the fields - some kind of "blood sacrifice" to make the harvest better

I had one. It was auto reverse and you could plug it into a electrical outlet. With exterior speakers it became a small stereo. I still have the speakers. I use them in my recording studio as auxiliary speakers.
