me earlier this year thinking I could write 4000 words per day: why don't writers all just write the entire book as quickly as feasibly possible? GENIUS!

ftr my #novella is a #biopunk story in a post-post-apocalypse, it's heavy on #worldbuilding but I try to do that through implication mostly rather than telling.

Specifically it's about a group of friends who discover an underground civilization of mutants and must escape #writingcommunity #booksky

im not gonna meet my writing goal for tonight but at least im writing a scene ive been putting off for a while. i think the big problem is just endurance and fighting my ADHD/procrastination habit. when i want to do something else i have to remind myself i feel BETTER when ive gotten writing done...
